St. Luke is hosting a Human Trafficking Awareness Training in partnership with the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Violence Reduction.
As Atlanta prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, our city stands at a critical intersection of celebration and vigilance. Large events can increase the risk of human trafficking, and communities of faith have an important role to play in awareness and prevention.
This interactive two hour training will be led by experts from Wellspring Living and Tapestri. Participants will learn how traffickers operate, how to recognize warning signs, how to respond safely, and how to connect individuals with local resources and support. The training will also provide practical guidance on reporting and ways communities can be involved in the fight against trafficking.
This event is open to the public. We invite neighbors, leaders, and community members to join us in becoming informed and prepared.
Together, we can turn awareness into action.
