The staff and congregation of St. Luke Lutheran Church proudly supports these social outreach programs.

ELCA World Hunger carries out The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America's (ELCA) commitment to supporting people who live with chronic hunger and poverty around the corner and around the world through relief, development, education, and advocacy.

Along with the World Hunger program, the ELCA also has numerous other giving areas. These include ELCA Disaster Response and the ELCA Good Gifts Catalog.

Lutheran Services of Georgia, a not-for-profit social services agency of the Lutheran Church, in partnership with government agencies and Georgia communities, bringing hope, healing, and strength to people in need.

Buckhead Christian Ministry  fights hunger and homelessness in North Atlanta. They provide food to the hungry, pay rent and utility bills of those facing eviction, and have a housing program for families moving from homelessness to more permanent housing.  Click here to learn more about the BCM Food Drive.

Heifer International logo

Heifer International combats hunger, alleviates poverty, and restores the environment by providing appropriate livestock, training, and related services to small-scale farmers worldwide.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. HFHI seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.

Lutherans Concerned/North America is a Christian ministry affirming God's love for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities since 1974.
